講題： How To Be A Player On Jesus’ Team (如何成為主耶穌的隊工)           

Going to Jerusalem to face his cross, Jesus needs a team to help him enter the Holy City – the apostles, the crowd and a young donkey.  How can a young donkey be recruited for Jesus’ Team?  God has a wonderful plan for everybody in their life, including a donkey.

How To Be A Player on Jesus’ Team, even if you are a donkey:

如何成為耶穌隊伍的成員，即使你只是一頭驢駒:

1.      You need to wait for the opportunity 你必須要等待機會.

“Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. (v2)

Ø  God has a plan for your life 神在你生命中有美好的計劃.

Ø  Prepare your skill and be patience while you wait.

           在耐心等待中, 好好預備你的本領.

2.      You need to have a pure heart and love Jesus

你必須有單純的心, 要愛耶穌

When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. (v7)

Ø  God loves you more than you know 神愛你多過你能明白的.

Ø  Nurture your love for Jesus and have a close relationship with Him.   培養你對耶穌的愛, 與他有密切的關係

Ø  Willing to serve Him and be ridden by Him

           願意服侍他, 讓他騎在你身上.

3.      You need to listen and obey Jesus’ command

你必須要聽從耶穌的吩咐

 “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” (v9)

Ø  God is in control 神掌管一切.

Ø  Put your trust in Him and go wherever He wants you to. 

                    信靠他, 去他要你去的地方.

4.      You need to do your best to glorify God 你必須要盡力榮耀神

“Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” (v10)

Ø  When God is glorified, you will be blessed 當神得到榮耀時, 人也同時被祝福.

Ø  Make people praise and thank God because they see God in your life. 讓人因看見你的生命而讚美感謝神.

Mark 11:1-11 New International Version (NIV)

¹ As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, ² saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. ³ If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”

⁴ They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, ⁵ some people standing there asked, “What are you doing, untying that colt?” ⁶ They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. ⁷ When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. ⁸ Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. ⁹ Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted,

“Hosanna!”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

¹⁰ “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!”

“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

¹¹ Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
